And 404 Error Magic will handle and display a page based on any file extension so if your end users enter http://your_site/automotive.html and it supposed to be .php it will pull a page based on that information.
You have the choice of letting your end users know if they reached a 404 error page so they can try to find the actual page they were looking for or you can just leave the page and have them click on a relevant ad or use the built in internet search. You can turn both the 404 notification or the internet search on or off. Also you can turn on Mini Search and add to their choices.

Okay, that works great! Now how hard is the install?
Actually it is really easy... All you do is:
Signup, select your license version, download the software.
Unzip the files to a folder on your computer example: "error_magic".
You should have a folder called "404_error_magic" in the new folder ("error_magic") you created.
Open the "404_error_magic_common_.php" file located in the "404_error_magic" folder and in a web browser, open the "404_Error_Magic_Instructions.html" and follow the instructions to set your site up. Add your header, navigation, advertising and footer files.
Upload your software using an FTP program, just grab all the files and folders from your "error_magic" folder and put them in the root directory of your server. (Make sure you upload as binary.)
Modify your ".htaccess" file as explained in the instructions.
Once you have uploaded and modified the files, as soon as you hit your web site for the first time, (Type in a non existent page.) an email will be sent to you with your local "key.php" file which will need to be uploaded into your "root" directory. (This is in case our licensing servers are unreachable the key file will allow your site to run up to one month without "talking" to our servers.)

* Known issues: Files need to be uploaded in Binary format. Sometimes when a hosting company rebuilds a server, the encrypted files get trashed. Probably due to them uploading in ASCII. Always re-upload encrypted files first if the site stops working.
