Okay, that works great! Now how hard is the install?

Actually it is really easy... All you do is:

1. Signup, select your license version, download the software.
   

2. Unzip the files to a folder on your computer example: "mini_search".

3. You should have a folder called "mini_search" in the new folder ("mini_search") you created.

4. Open the "mini_search_common_.php" file located in the "mini_search" folder and in a web browser, open the "Mini_Search_Instructions.html" and follow the instructions to set your site up. Add your header, navigation, advertising and footer files.

5. Upload your software using an FTP program, just grab all the files and folders from your "mini_search" folder and put them in the root directory of your server. (Make sure you upload as binary.)

6. Modify your ".htaccess" file as explained in the instructions.

7. Once you have uploaded and modified the files, as soon as you hit your web site for the first time, (Type in a non existent page.) an email will be sent to you with your local "key.php" file which will need to be uploaded into your "root" directory. (This is in case our licensing servers are unreachable the key file will allow your site to run up to one month without "talking" to our servers.)

8. Go grab a coffee or your favorite beverage... That's it... You are done!! Pretty simple huh?

Minimum System Requirements:

• Your Domain Name hosted on a server.
• PHP4 and above.
• Apache Server 2 or higher.*
• Server configured to run IonCube loaders

* Known issues: Files need to be uploaded in Binary format. Sometimes when a hosting company rebuilds a server, the encrypted files get trashed. Probably due to them uploading in ASCII. Always re-upload encrypted files first if the site stops working.
Note: Not fully tested on a windows server running the above. Not tested for IIS.

Only basic HTML and CSS needed:

You can have total control over the template display with only basic HTML and CSS knowledge. If you can make HTML or CSS tables, the site does the rest for you. No writing META tags, no open / close HTML, no PHP coding, you just place your files in the directories and the software does the rest. Full CSS control over every aspect of the site right down to individual lines.
